Oreo Protein French Toast

We took our Cinnamon Roll French Toast recipe and added a little twist with Oreos! This breakfast staple is delicious and macro-friendly! Don't forget to tag @Smackros on Instagram if you recreate it!

What You Need:

2 Slices of 100% Whole Wheat Light Style Bread by Pepperidge Farm

1 Oreo

1 Scoop (31g) Cinnamon Roll Protein Power by Bowmar Nutrition *Protein alternative listed in notes*

1.5 fluid oz. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

1 Egg

1/2 Tbs Baking Powder

Walden Farm Maple Walnut Syrup (Optional)

How To Make:

1. In a ziplock bag, crush up your Oreo into small pieces.

2. Combine your protein powder, egg, almond milk, baking powder, and Oreo crumbles into a plate.

3. Soak your bread into the batter and flip to cover the other side.

4. Place the slice of bread onto a skillet on your stovetop, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for your second slice.

6. Remove from heat, top with syrup, and serve!
